Are Dashing Dog Leads available in retail stores?
Not at the present time, but I'm not opposed to selling leashes wholesale in the right situation. Martingale leads have custom neck loops made to fit precisely, making them impractical for stores.

Why aren't all lengths available for all color combinations?
Several highlight colors are limited in length. Leather is normally sold as"sides" or portions of sides, which vary in size. (A side is half of a hide.) If the side for a color is too short to make the length of lead, those lengths will not be listed as available. Examples: Yellow, white, black, red suede, green suede, denim, royal suede.
What is the proper fit for a martingale lead neck loop?
The neck loop should fit slightly loosely when closed (rings touching) so it doesn't choke the dog, but is not easily pulled off his head if he were to pull (backward) away from you.

All your leads are available in 1/2" widths only. Are there any other widths available?
Not at the present time. The 1/2" width has been perfect for trained performance & companion dogs. If you require a heavier-built lead, communicate that to me via the Contact form , or on the Cart page (click the "add note to seller" link) and I'll build the lead out of heavier (thicker) latigo.
What is the "concho"?
What I'm calling a concho is actually a Chicago screw with a decorative face. It's made of brass, but has a nickel finish. When placed at the base of the hand loop, it serves to hold down the end of the hand loop strap neatly. (see photo below)
If a certain color combination is available as a leash, can I also get it as another type of lead?
Yes! Any combination of colors displayed as one type of lead is available as any other type lead. Just remember, the base is either black or burgundy. There are 18 highlight colors and brass & silver stars from which to choose.

How Do I Place A Custom Lead Order?
The SHOP leashes tab Is where all leashes are featured, and the Shop Martingales subpage is where everything relating to martingale (agility) leads are found. Select the lead, then from the product menu, choose options and add to your cart.
If what you want isn't listed, use the Contact form at the bottom of this page to communicate what you want. I will respond A.S.A.P.
What's the fastest way to get a lead or leash?
A.) Order from inventory (see list on Available Now subpage.) If I don't have to make a lead, I can usually ship it immediately. Snaps, swivels and rings are easily switched-out, so choose what you want (specify neck loop size, if a martingale lead) and order & pay for it using the SHOP leashes or Shop Martingales page, depending on the type of lead you want.
B.) Choose Priority Mail for the shipping option. Leads should arrive within 3 days of shipping with this option.
Payment and Shipping
Once you've chosen the lead and options you want, payment is made via PayPal on the Shop page. If the lead is in inventory it will ship immediately. If it isn't in inventory or must be custom made, it will ship immediately upon completion. Either way, you will be notified when it ships.
